The U.S. Calls for Calm and to Avoid Violence

Tegucigalpa, M.D.C.: There are reports that President Zelaya has returned to Honduras. We are seeking more details on these reports. We call on both sides to refrain from any provocative actions. We continue to believe that the best mechanism to restore the democratic order is through the San Jose accord.
