The Interview with the Consular Officer
On the day of the interview, the applicant must arrive at the Embassy 15 minutes before the stated appointment time. Late arrivals must return to Banco Atlántida and pay US$13 again to obtain a new PIN number, call our Call Center and reschedule the appointment.
Please Note: The time assigned for the visa interview is when the applicant may enter the Embassy, and not when the Consular Officer will see the applicant. Due to the processing time for each passport, and the fact that hundreds of applicants are interviewed each day, applicants should expect to wait several hours to be interviewed.
Who can accompany you during the interview?
- Only minors should come with both parents.
- Only elderly applicants and/or disabled that need assistance.
Other applicants may come to the interview with no accompany, because of reduced space facilities.
