The Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Tegucigalpa Field Office is responsible for providing services and conducting liaison activities in Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

Location and Public Hours of Operation
The Tegucigalpa Office of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services (USCIS) is located at Avenida La Paz, Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
The office is open on Mondays, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The office is closed on weekends and American and Honduran holidays.
Directions to Our Office
We are located in Avenida La Paz, in front of the USAID building. Parking is extremely limited.
Important Security Announcement
Please do not bring mobile phones or any electronic devices, such as Blackberries, IPods, or PDAs as they are not allowed within the Consulate. We also strongly advice that you do not bring strollers, large bags, such as backpacks, suitcases or packages to the interview as there are not storage facilities on the grounds of our facilities.
Applications that do not follow these instructions will experience considerable delays at the security check point.
We do not accept walk in Tuesday-Friday unless the situation is an emergency. Normal requests, such as applications, filings, status inquiries and requests for transportation letters are not considered emergency requests.

Paying Fees
Fees for applications and petitions are listed under the Fees and Filings Location Chart at the USCIS website. Fees may be paid in Lempiras or U.S. dollars, money orders should be made payable to Department of Homeland Security or U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, (no personal checks are accepted).
