Demonstration Notices 2010
Demonstrations Taking Place Friday, December 17
December 17, 2010
The U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa informs U.S. citizens residing in or
visiting Honduras that approximately 100 demonstrators are currently
blocking Boulevard Miraflores and burning tires near Plaza Miraflores in
Tegucigalpa.
Even demonstrations that are meant to be peaceful
can become violent and unpredictable. You should avoid them if at all
possible. Since the timing and routes of marches and demonstrations are
always subject to change, U.S. citizens should monitor local media
sources and the Embassy's website for new developments.
